Photography doesn't solely rely on the camera, but of the people behind the camera. I'm not a HUGE fan of editing, unless it deals with a tad of color enhancement or gives a natural feeling to it. Nothing, nobody is perfect. It is the imperfections that make our world. Everyday we try to conform to what society feels is beautiful, when all we need to do is embrace our disappointments, our sad-ness, OUR flaws. Accepting the downfalls does not mean dwell in them. Once you are willing to get past the bad and move for the better; you will. Live up to yourself not to others.
